Technological Highlights

Active rectifying technology

Opposed to a simple bridge rectifier based on diodes, our sophisticated active ACDC includes MOSFETs. The SP MotorDrive compensates for harmonics, which prevents noise and leads to a higher efficiency. 

Parallel connection

Employing the active rectifier directly behind the synchronous machine allows to connect all generators in parallel on a single DC bus. Once connected in parallel, fewer components can be used to cut costs. 

IP 68 Rating

Developed to achieve full power also in harsh condition, we designed all components IP 68 proof. Wet and dusty environments as well as temporary submersion won't harm our units.

Modular compatibility with all SINN Power components

Particular attention was payed to enable a seamless connection of all SINN Power components and allow to build different configurations depending on the purpose. In this way, components can be physically connected via cable, simply per plug or in a connection box. With every additional electrical component running on the same DC bus, the physical order can be adapted to the needs. For instance, multiple LFP storage units can be included to increase capacity. Furthermore, storage units can be placed in a maintenance-friendly spot for the setup.

In combination with the DC converter this LFP battery with integrated BMS offers a widely scalable storage solution based on 1 kWh per unit.

With a range from 24 V up to 800 V the DC converter manages the charging and discharging process of the battery storage.
