World Premiere in Bavaria: SINN Power Inaugurates First Vertically Floating Photovoltaic System

On 10 October 2025, SINN Power made history: the world’s first vertically floating photovoltaic system was inaugurated at the Jais gravel plant in the district of Starnberg. The project is unique worldwide, sets new standards for power generation on inland waters, and is regarded as a milestone for sustainable energy with international significance.
For this pioneering achievement, SINN Power was honored as a “Shaper in the Bavaria Energy Transition Team.” This award is a special recognition of technological innovation and the consistent implementation of sustainable energy concepts.
